Gooseberry and Crème Fraice Tart from Delia Online. What a delicious tart! The combination of the flavour in this tart is just perfect! It’s a brilliant idea of Delia to add balsamic vinegar in her recipe.

No need to say much! Just follow that simple recipe and you’ll find yourself just like in heaven, LOL.

Oh wait! This recipe uses lard that is pig fat. So for if some reasons you cannot use lard then just use all butter (60 gr) for making the pastry. I am pretty sure that would be just fine.

      You are right about the lard pie crust. It is delicious indeed, the texture and its flavor, crusty and salty. So it really makes good combination of the flavor to the tart. It’s a worth try! 🙂
