These pictures were taken in Liverpool, 24 November 2010, when there was some protest by student over university fees. It started in London and had spread throughout some big cities in England such as Birmingham, Manchester, and Liverpool. You can read the news here: Thousands march in student protest over university fees.
I and a friend of mine were sitting inside The Piazza Café at The Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ The King Liverpool when the protest happened in the late afternoon. They did march through the central Liverpool and they stopped by in front of The Metropolitan Cathedral along The Hope Street, a road that connects the two Cathedrals in Liverpool, Anglican and Catholic ones. Thanks God that the protest didn’t turn to a violence liked in London at the time.
