This is my very first time joining Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge. The reason why I join it for this week theme is because I’m currently forcing myself to shooting in Black and White photos as I’ve mentioned it on my early post here: Ongoing Project.
To me shooting in B&W mode is more complicated than the colour one.
Here my entry for Black and White or Sepia Tones theme:
Hope you enjoyed it. 🙂
Love your photos, Inge, especially the first one. Really, you shoot those in B&W? You got a wonderful result. 🙂 I always shoot in color and transform the photos I like to B&W.
Thank you very much, Imelda. 🙂
Yes, I’ve shot them all in B&W including the primulia flower. Just because I wasn’t too happy with its lighting so I converted to sepia tone.
I set my camera to JPEG and RAW file so if I wasn’t happy with the B&W ones then just use the RAW file because it’s always in colour.
I said it’s a little bit complicated shooting in B&W because we have to use colour filters in order to create nice B&W photos. Well obviously we can use the filters in the editing process as well but it’s a little bit challenge to create B&W photos straight out of the camera. 🙂
Budi lucu sekaliii,, bisa begayaan…
B/W tapi tetap indah dan uniknya tampak gorgeous
Tapi seriuuuus tiap liat foto-foto Mba Inge kok kayaknya “sungguh moment langka” 🙂
Nice pic Mbaaaa… sukaaa
justru Budi gak suka dipotret itu sebenarnya, mbak Nita. susah banget motret dia, gak pernah berhasil. foto itu saja sebenarnya ‘kebetulan’ hahahahahahahaa
makasih banyak buat apresiasi dan dukungannya ya, mbak Nita. 🙂
wow,, kebetulan yang woookeeee 🙂
Sami-sami Mba Inge 🙂
Beautiful shots!!! First one is amazing!!!!
Thank you, Rexlin. Yes, the first one was the red sunset as I’ve posted on my previous post about WPC Kiss. I’m glad that I did that. 🙂
Beautiful black and whites. Simply gorgeous!
Thank you very much, Cee. 🙂
By the way I’m sorry that I haven’t been able to post my link to yours. I seem like have problem with my mozilla firefox at the moment and still trying to solve the problem.
A handful of really nice photographs – and together they make a very strong compilation. I really like the one of your cat, simply because it’s a little mysterious and open.
Thank you very much for your very kind comment, Otto. 🙂
I had nearly deleted my cat’s photo tbh but I thought his eyes make the photo rather unique. 😀
greetings by

Thank you for greetings by, Frizz. I really like that photo. The lighting and composition are just PERFECTO! 🙂
Good photos, wicked moon shot! 🙂
Thank you, Rob. Yes, it’s a wicked moon indeed since that is the sun. 😀
OH DANG! haha you got me! 😉
hahahahahahahaaha…
Don’t worry, Rob….You were not the only one who thought it was the moon, LOL.
It was the red sunset that I shot in B&W mode as you may want to check it here:

Pas persis dengan teknik yg lagi dipelajari 🙂
benar, mbak 😀
Beautiful post my friend 🙂
Thank you very much, Jake! 🙂
Beautiful images! I love the one of the seagulls, and I especially love your header image. I have the hardest time taking black and white images, but yours are quite lovely!
Thank you very much for your sweet and lovely comment JZ! 🙂
I am still learning though how to shoot black and white images. I take a chance of the Lent season by shooting in B&W mode. 🙂
Fantastic work here, Inge! That sunset is stunning, and “Cat’s Eye” is downright hypnotic!– you should enter that one in a contest– maybe for Halloween or some other “spooky” category! (Could you edit the eye to make it yellow?– that might be an interesting experiment– just a passing thought… : )
I, too, really like your header image: beautiful shot, and absolutely perfect for reminding us what Lent is all about. : )
Thank you very much for your very constructive comments, Mark! I’ll try out your suggestion for my cat and will post it later in here. 😉
Many thank you for your big support!
