Weekly Photo Challenge: Habit

I’m back with Weekly Photo Challenge with Habit in theme this week.

Yesterday on Sunday afternoon I went to visit a friend of mine who has a Christmas Trees land. Initially, I was planning to do a quick visit and then go to a country park nearby. As I wandering around his field I found lots of fungi down on the ground which I thought they were mushroom but apparently I was wrong. So I ended up searching for another fungi in his field instead of go the country park for shooting the trees and leaves for autumn photos.

Shooting trees and leaves in the autumn is my habit at the moment and now I’ve grown up my new habit that is shooting fungi or mushrooms. I read some article on internet that say autumn is an ideal time to see the fruiting bodies of them so this is become my new habit at the moment.

I couldn’t identify all the fungi that I saw in my friend’s land, only a few of them. But hope you all enjoy it!

Here they are:

By the way have you ever heard a joke says “why is the mushroom funny?”

Weekly Photo Challenge: Escape

“Hi Inge, colors to escape from monochrome …,” said Frizztext on his comment at my previous post, Weekly Photo Challenge (WPC): Colour.

Hmmm…that is a great idea to join this week theme of WPC: Escape! But I decided to chose monochrome to escape from colours.

So here my entry for this week theme:

Bear it in mind that I am in a learning process to understand about B&W photos. I’ll be back with another post of what I’ve learned so far. So any feedback or constructive comments are welcome. Thank you in advance. 🙂

Have a great weekend ahead. 🙂

Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Black and White or Sepia Tones

Image

This is my very first time joining Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge. The reason why I join it for this week theme is because I’m currently forcing myself to shooting in Black and White photos as I’ve mentioned it on my early post here: Ongoing Project.

To me shooting in B&W mode is more complicated than the colour one.

Here my entry for Black and White or Sepia Tones theme:

Hope you enjoyed it. 🙂

Sunset is a time when the sun kisses the horizon and the time when he gives a kiss goodbye to the daytime. Enough for today.

Sunday Post: On Going

Shooting photos in monochrome style (black and white photo) is my on going project during The Lent Season of this year.

As you may not know that since November last year I’ve joined a website called 365project.org. The website encourages us to take photos at least one every day. It is a good thing to do though sometimes I missed it for some reasons. The members there are very active and creative with their daily photos and also by creating a challenge or theme for every day inspirations.

So my ongoing project of shooting in monochrome during The Lent Season is part of the challenge Giving up colour for Lent that been created by one member there and one of them has shared themes called Lent Photo a Day #40Days.

The photo collages below are my results of joining camera settings challenge by shooting in monochrome with five (5) different settings.

You may would like to see the large version of my header above as I’ve posted here: Return.

Hope you enjoyed it. 🙂

I put the lyrics of a hymn called On Eagle’s Wings though I know that is not an eagle in the picture. But I like the way that seagull posed in the picture. I took it last week.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Unique

This week theme of Weekly Photo Challenge: Unique, is a little bit difficult to me but the show must go on! 😀

So here my entry for this week theme:

Can you guess what they are? 😀

For the ones that I called Black Hole and Water Galaxy, they were the mist on my window.

The pattern one is the reflection of the sunlight on the rippled water, while the rest ones (the smokey bell and the blue heart) are part of my experiment in learning and doing Light Painting photograph.

Hope you like it and enjoy your Friday, everyone!
